On the 11th express entry draw of 2023, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) sent 3500 ITAs, similar to the last express entry draw #246. This time, a candidate with the lowest score of 483 will receive an ITA on his IRCC secure account and over email. The latest CRS score slightly fell off by 3 points from the last express entry draw. This draw was not for any specific program. All eligible candidates, including Federal Skilled Worker Program, Skilled Trade Program, Canadian Experience Program and Enhanced PNP program, will receive an ITA on this express entry draw.
What if 2 express entry candidates have the same score?
Whenever there is any kind of situation when more than 2 candidates have the same CRS score, the immigration system follows the rule of first come, first serve. The ITA would be sent to the candidate who has submitted his profile earlier on the IRCC portal since, for these cases, the cut-off is based on the date and time the candidate submitted his Express Entry profile on the portal.
