After 19 days, with new immigration minister Marc Miller, IRCC has announced its #259th express entry draw where 2,000 invitations have been sent to express entry applicants with a valid express entry profile and a job seeker validation code. The minimum C.R.S. score required is 517. 12 points have increased compared to the last Express Entry Draw with no specific program (#257th express entry draw).

From the above graph, we can measure that the Immigration Department has lowered the number of candidates for normal express entry draws in the last three months. Still, with the latest express entry draw on 1st August 2023, IRCC again has increased the invitations to apply and the C.R.S. score.

Our Immigration expert have done some analysis of the results of the Express Entry draws that took place between 24th May 2023 and 1st August 2023. The draws were for the "No Program Specified" category, meaning that candidates were eligible for any Express Entry programs.

The chart above shows that the C.R.S. cut-off score has increased steadily over the past few months. The lowest C.R.S. cut-off score was 486 for the draw on 27th June 2023. The highest C.R.S. cut-off score was 517 for the draw on 1st August 2023.

Latest Express Entry Draw Conclusion:

On the #259th express entry draw, the Canadian immigration department sent 2,000 invitations to apply for new immigrants. Canada has invited 71,148 Express Entry candidates through the Express Entry program, including Canadian Experience Class, Federal Skilled Class, and Skilled Trade Class.

The competition for Express Entry invitations is becoming more intense. Candidates with a C.R.S. score of 486 or less are unlikely to receive an invitation to apply. Candidates with a C.R.S. score of 517 or higher are more likely to receive an invitation.
