Category-based express entry system

What is a category-based express entry system?

From November 29, 2022, to January 16, 2023, there was a public consultation organized by the Canadian immigration department to make improvements in the Express Entry system which will focus on specific economic goals. Governmental employees of provinces and territories, members of industry, unions, employers, workers, worker advocacy groups, settlement provider organizations, and immigration researchers and practitioners were part of this conference.
On the basis of this conference, IRCC is implementing a new Express Entry candidate selection method to fulfill economic goals, which is known as the Category-based express entry system.
