Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has announced its #275th express entry draw, where 1,325 invitations have been sent to express entry applicants with a valid express entry profile and a job seeker validation code.

Marc Miller News for Express Entry Draws in 2024
The Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship, Marc Miller, said that the government is changing the express entry system to make it fairer and more efficient. The changes include:
- Introducing a new points system will give more points to skilled workers with experience in Canada
- Increasing the number of invitations issued to draw in upcoming years.
- Reducing the C.R.S. cut-off score.
The Minister said that the changes are being made to help Canada attract and retain the best and brightest talent worldwide.

It is the 2nd general express entry draw of this month with a C.R.S. score above 542. Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issued 4,750 Invitations to international skilled workers looking to immigrate to Canada through the express entry program.
Recent PNP Invitations:
- Prince Edward Island Invitations were issued to individuals working in the Healthcare, Manufacturing, Food Processing and Construction sectors.
- British Columbia Invitations were issued to individuals working in tech occupations, Early childhood educators and assistants, and the Healthcare and Construction sectors.
- Manitoba Invitations were issued to International Students completing study at a college in Manitoba.
- Alberta Invitations were issued to healthcare workers and employees who had a job offer from an employer in Alberta.

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has issued a total of 16,000 Invitations to Apply through the General Express Entry program in the last five draws, from December 18, 2023, to September 19, 2023.
As you can see, invitations have decreased slightly over the past five draws. The C.R.S. cut-off score has also been decreasing slightly. Getting invited to apply for Canadian permanent residency through the Express Entry program is becoming easier.
